Market Day Training, Virtual

VCEE's Market Day is at the Henrico Sports and Events Center on March 27th, 2026! This session will show teachers how to have their students create classroom businesses, run a classroom mini-economy, and make connections to the curriculum. Even veteran teachers will take something out of this!

• Digital teaching resources will be provided. 
• Core audience: Grades 3-5 teachers. Teachers of all grades will benefit. Everyone is welcome.

Important: VCEE will now require teachers to do a two-hour professional development session for all teachers who attend Market Day. Yes, every year! VCEE wants Market Day to be the culminating event of a high-quality real-world learning unit. The ongoing training will help Central Virginia grow a community of master mini-economy teachers. If you are hoping to bring your students to Market Day, please plan to come to this session, the in-person sessions, or the other virtual makeup sessions (see VCEE workshop list). If you want to bring a collegue to Market Day, please alert him or her about the requirement and share the session times.
